I’m so glad they got rid of the old security team very disrespectful and abusive towards guests I seen one guard spit on a lady 3 weeks ago The new security team is very respectful even when you being removed from the establishment and also move different. I’m glad jimmys 38. Got rid of the security team and brought a new team in that welcome the guests from the door

Was planning on going when I got there friends said they had been searched and the smell of weed filled the air. I am not opposed to weed to each his own but I do not want to feel like I am going to visit someone in jail to get into a bar/club. We will try again on another night but Saturday night was not it for me and my group. Hopefully I will be able to change the rating in the future

Food was decent... service kind of slow... but I went with really good friends and we had a great time together...

We had a Sunday brunch bachelorette party. Had a blast. Good food, bottomless sangria and mimosas. $30 Hookah. Attentive staff. Good music. Perfect for big groups of friends.

Went here on a Friday night for a birthday celebration. The entrance fee was $20 for the ladies and $30 for guys. There is a mandatory coat check for $3. I overall had fun. The music was great, mostly hip hop. I was in VIP and it slowly became packed in there but it wasn’t a problem for me. I would definitely go back.

Fridays are the best.. Staff is great and look good.... Woman and men dance the night away.... Lets go...

On this night 3/7/20, women get in free at 11pm and they didn't start letting people in until 11:40pm!! This was my first time patronizing this lounge and will likely be my last. 🤷‍♀️🤦‍♀️The drinks were overpriced $17 and the (sangria was really watered down), however the wings and parmesan fries were good. Thankfully my friend had bottle service at her table cause I wasn't ordering another from them. It was also a bit much for me watching women jumping up and down on furniture because their favorite song was playing. All and all, it was an ok experience, not good, not great, just ok.

Very Fun & Up beat Envoriment. The pitcher drink is a bit to pricey but was well worth it. The drinks are really good. Everyone there was pretty much just looking to have a great time. I would definitely visit again. 😁💃

It was like going into a court building the way security searched me but in their defense a few incidents broke out during the night. Otherwise good food/ drinks with decent prices.

Pricey on drinks but food, atmosphere the people and music was a definite go but be ready to spread $30 at door if you come to late but well worth it you will enjoy the night out

Downtrodden decor, uninspiring food options, weakish cocktails. A recent Sunday morning visit to the place was underwhelming. The smell of bleach permeated the entrance area, the decor was in bad repair with seats displaying large holes and cuts and wall decor torn at places.The 40-dollar set brunch menu featured standard items prepared without much fantasy and somewhat bland. The accompanying mimosa was thin and uninspiring. One can only hope that there's some good parties in the vast space the restaurant occupies.

Definitely gave me house party vibes. I wish there was more air circulating. Great party place!!!

I wish I could give this no stars. Worst service ever! Ordered bottomless drinks and never got served. Rude customer service. Mediocre food with very high pricing considering the quality. Asked three different bartenders for drinks and never recieved them. Finally got served after sitting for 45 mins.. I don't leave reviews but after to being to this hole in a wall I had to. Be prepared to wait, over spend on lousy food, and listen to the same songs repeatedly.

We paid for VIP there’s no need for you to kick us out. The place was empty. There was no need to lie say somebody else booked a table that’s just inappropriate and disrespectful. The respect of customers is necessary to have so please be respectful to your regulars.

If i could give it 0 stars I would. Believe the bad reviews. They are very accurate. We made a reservation for 5, showed up at 4:40, and were seated at 6:45. The bartender, Destiney, was lovely especially considering that many guests were taking their frustrations out on her....I finallySpoke to the manager after waiting an hour he told us that we should have arrive 45 minutes before the reservation and was not willing to take care of us UNTIL he found out that one of his bouncers attempted to solicit two guests of our party, it was then he decided to send hookah to the table. I won’t even blame the service staff because it’s not their fault. MANAGEMENT is unprofessional, greedy and inhospitable. Stop overbooking you’re place if you are not prepared to provide the service. I’ve worked in restaurants for years in nyc and this is by far the worst place I’ve been to.

Sundays brunch is a fun party filled atmosphere. Food is decent but if you're with a large part it may take over an hour to receive your food. Customer service can use some improvement.

I wish I could give less.. they need a better door system. Waiting outside for 45 mins to go inside and only see 20 people is ridiculous.

VERY UNPROFESSIONAL ! My reservation for my BIRTHDAY was CONFIRMED for 7:30pm ! At 6:30 a TEXT was sent to my phone cancelling my reservation ! No explanation as to WHY. I called them several times they didn’t have the CURTESY to answer the phone. Even sent an email. My hair, make up was done ready to leave the house STUCK ! Very disgusting !

First time visiting. Met co-workers for a get together. My happy hour wasn't that happy. The jalopeno margarita was not spicy at all. We told bartender and she corrected. You have to muddle the jalapeno!

Actually 1 star is to much for this restaurant.I went there for dinner today with friends and all that was on the menu was fast fried food. It was awful. The place smell, there were no lights in the women bathroom. I would not recommend this restaurant. Very poor.

I had fun at Jimmy's. It has a big enough room to dance and their drinks are worth the price but the securities there was either trying to dance with you or hook up the whole night. BIG TURN OFF

Terrible service. The staff was unprofessional and rude. I wouldn't recommend the night club to any large parties. We were given the wrong information for bottle service.. so when we got there they were trying to rip us of. This place is a joke. Ive had better service at a Wendy's. Paul Brown the "owner" of Jimmy's 38 was the worst as far as customer service aspect goes. He didn't try and cater to our large party of almost 30 people that was spending a large sum of money on bottles and drink in this establishment.

Great atmosphere wonderful music and much more chill than you would expect from a place in the city; it’s not uptight and the dress code is lenient.

Good music and good food. Fried pork chunks with red onions and chimichurri sauce are my favorite .. happy hour mojitos are good too.

Horrible service. Wait for food is incredible. Not a friendly environment. I would advise anyone to stay away

My friends and I came here for a party on Saturday night. We arrived around 11pm as we were trying to make in it before 12am. Imagine our disappointment when we had to stand in line for over an hour and ended up having to pay at the door. What was even worse is that the event was nothing as promoted. It was way too crowded, the food was horrible and the "second floor" was really a small room with no air or ventilation. It was difficult to even breathe in there and I'm pretty sure it violated some health hazard. I don't mind paying to get into a club. But don't promote an event as free and when people show up on time, you intentionally hold the line so you can make money. I would give negative stars if I could.

Not the hottest spot....... music and food was ok. There were no dress code and not a big dance floor to let loose. The health department showed up and shut down the bar and the kitchen for an inspection. NO one could eat for over a hour. (We were not accommodated either) . They also snatched all the hookahs from anyone who purchased it because the health department arrived. It was clear they would have been in violation of the health department regulations. Definitely not planning an event there in the future. Not a good experience.

You have to watch your bill. And read the fine print! Don't try to give the waitress cash tip. THE TIP IS ALREADY INCLUDED IN YOUR BILL!

When you go for bottomless brunch, expect a lot of orange juice in your mimosas. The best bet is the Sangria. Food is great! Day party starts around 6pm so get to brunch around 4pm if you plan to stay. Hookah is also available (cash only).

Location and food was really good. Service needs work. None of the waiters seem like they wanted to “work” but rather party amongst themselves. It’s a 2hr window during brunch, I had a friend who was running behind and was told that they do not take orders after the first 30 mins and anyone missing from your party would have to let you know their order if they cannot get there behind the 30 min window which I did not appreciate and it was not communicated at all on their website, mind you we made reservations prior to the day we had went. Good at rushing you in the beginning and then slow to bring your food out when all that is included is an appetizer and your entree.

Music was great, Food/Drinks was good.. Young but mature crowd.. Had a great time

I haven't had any experience but just reading the reviews and the operation managers responses is making me think my cousin made a bad choice in choosing to have her bday celebration here. I will say this, if her party is ruined due to insensitive and poorly trained staff who can't communicate effectively, I am going straight to the licensing board. It's obvious the managers response don't attempt to address anything but blame the customer on allegedly complaints as they put it. I am going to pray we have a great experience with the waiters and bouncers. If we do, I'll be sure to give a fair review. I'm sure I'll get a defensive response, I'm just waiting.

This a great place to get together with friends and coworker after work to unwind and get drinks on a Friday. The drinks are pretty good and they don't taste watered-down. Great club atmosphere and nice staff.

The music was good on Saturday however I do not recommend this spot for a birthday or special brunch unless you’re desperate. The decor is awful and classless. They use plastic card tables for brunch and throw black table cloth on it and use old, beaten up, mix-match chairs at the tables. The food was also mediocre. I ordered sweet chili wings for an appetizer and the flavor was not good. I had chicken and waffles for an entree and though the waffle was good , the chicken was extremely soggy as if they served me old chicken that they refried to recrisp the skin. If you only care about good music selection during brunch than this spot may be for you. However, if you care about the whole ambience/experience I would not suggest this place for any type of brunch.

I attended this location last night and I’m only leaving a review because of my great interaction with the bouncers/security as they are AMAZING !!! Would recommend an increase in their pay;) I felt safe and respected the whole night through. I would love to thank each of them personally, great job fellas xoxo

We had a great time there, good food and service. My friend left her purse there with value stuff and next day we found the purse with absolutely everything in there! So 5 stars for this honest and respectful staff!

Its a much younger crowd than my liking. Music is good no food options. Bottle service is ok..

It's cool. Brunch was too much of a young crowd for me. They are STRICT on the dress code so beware!

A bit pricey but I had a lot of fun. The brunch was really good and I highly enjoyed the mimosas. The day party was also probably the most fun I ever had.

We love to go out. Yesterday we came to this magnificent restaurant which friends recommended to us. We enjoyed a delightful evening there with fine dishes and a courteous team and a professional chief cook. We added this venue in our phone list and we will no doubt visit again very soon. We deeply recommend.

The service was horrible the food was served without eating utensils and it took 14 minutes to get and fork and semi- butter knife to cut steak; never got a steak knives. The Long Island ice tea was horribly made....I would not recommend this place.

Customer service is so BAD. THE IS NOT THE BEST FOOD AND TAKE FOREVER AND NO UTENSILS. THE STAFFS ARE NOT APPROACHABLE..
